She knows that healthy children, create a healthy world. Jameelah’s unwavering commitment to see no child left behind has become her life’s work.  As a social entrepreneur and visionary, she leads three integrated agencies, Watch Me Grow Child Care, Watch Me Grow Consulting, and the non-profit Watch Me Grow, Inc,

Jameelah Hanif embodies the spirit of transformative change. Rooted in her Oakland upbringing, Jameelah's journey is a testament to resilience, dedication, and unwavering advocacy for children and families. As a single mother, entrepreneur, and community leader, Jameelah's story is one of inspiration, empowerment and bravery.

Driven by her fervent desire to create a more just society and Committed to addressing racial disparities, Jameelah spearheads initiatives that promote equity and justice. From organizing resource fairs to advocating for universal access to early childhood programs, she tirelessly works to uplift underserved communities and dismantle systemic inequalities, fostering a trauma-informed community that tackles ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) head on.

Jameelah's advocacy extends beyond her community. Through trauma-informed trainings and parent education programs, she empowers individuals to heal, grow, and create positive change in their lives and communities. Her dedication to fostering resilience and promoting emotional well-being is a guiding light for all who know her.

Recognized as an "Impact Warrior" by the Golden State Warriors and honored with the "Icons Amongst Us" award from the Bay Area Black Joy Parade, Jameelah's tireless advocacy has earned her acclaim and admiration. Throughout Solano County, she has been recognized for her outstanding contributions, earning accolades such as the "Extra Mile" award from the City of Vallejo and being named a "Champion for Children" by the Solano County Children's Network. Her dedication to service and advocacy has earned her the esteemed title of 2023 Woman of the Year by both the Solano Commission for Women & Girls and Congressman John Garamendi.

Jameelah Hanif is a testament to the power of resilience and the enduring spirit of hope. As she continues to champion trauma-informed communities and advocate for those most in need, her impact reverberates far and wide, leaving an indelible mark on the world around her.
